Teaching the game of basketball is my greatest passion. I have basketball coaching experience in 28 countries, from leading camps, leading coaching clinics, player development, team training, youth training, AAU clubs, university teams, professional organizations, national teams, etc. I am a FIBA Certified Coach and just served four season as the Head Coach of the Saigon Heat in the Vietnam Basketball Association and Asean Basketball League, as well as the Head Coach of the Vietnam National Team. At the professional level, I was just recently a back-to-back-to-back champion with the Saigon Heat and the winningest coach in Vietnam history. I then moved on to serve as the Head Coach of the Goldfields Giants in the Australia NBL1. I inherited a Giants team that won 33% of its games last season and was able to win 78% of the games I coached with the same local roster this I led the team to the NBL1 playoffs and the semi-final round, which is the most success the Giants organization has experienced in quite awhile. I then returned to Vietnam, this time to coach the Hanoi Buffaloes, a team I used to play for. In September of 2025 I led the Hanoi Buffaloes to their organization’s first ever VBA Championship, after also securing their first ever Supporter’s Cup Championship, en route to being the winningest team in VBA history with a record of 22-1.
